I hate drawing crowd scenes, but these turned out pretty well.
One of the most frustrating things I experienced as a journalist was reporting impartially on stories, but having readers not understand that all you’re doing is reporting, so they sometimes write in / leave comments blaming you personally for the things with which they agree that happened in the stories. It’s a weird life.
If the muck isn’t raked, it ossifies and eventually becomes sedimentary rock. Some people like the idea of screwed-up accounting and resource mismanagement becoming established like that. Others… not so much.
